In this e-learning course, Dr Catheryn Walsh will present 4 modules on the following topics:
Imaging artifacts in ultrasonography
Ultrasound of the liver and gall bladder
Ultrasound of the spleen, pancreas and adrenal glands
Ultrasound of the gastrointestinal tract and urinary tract
Ultrasound is a vital diagnostic tool in small animal practice. With many vet hospitals having access to a good quality ultrasound machine, it is becoming more widely used in day-to-day practice. In this course we will discuss the normal sonographic appearance and common pathologies that might be encountered in a small animal general practice.
Modules will be released every 3 weeks and homework should be completed within this time. The final MCQ test will be available on completion of the last module.
